Location.CEP is now on the 2nd floor of the new 32L building. The main entrance is at 32 Lincoln's Inn Fields, London, WC2A 3PH.Back to the top. Directions By Rail and Tube.While the nearest underground stations are Holborn (running on Piccadilly and Central lines) and Temple (running on District and Circle lines) the closest tube and mainline train station with wheelchair access is Waterloo station. This station has lifts to and from the Jubilee line, mainline station and street level at Waterloo Road.For assistance at Waterloo ring the following number, preferably 48 hours in advance:
Station reception is open between the hours of 07:30 and 21:00 Monday to Saturday, and 09:00 and 21:00 on Sundays. Outside these hours you can ask any member of Waterloo Station staff and they will arrange assistance for you. A map of Waterloo along with all other major London railway stations is available from Network Rail. For assistance at Holborn or any other Underground station please ring +44 (0)20 7222 1234 . From HolbornIf you are coming from Holborn, turn left out of the main entrance and walk along Kingsway. After 5 to 10 minutes you will come across the LSE's New Academic Building. Turn left here into Sardinia Street. Continue to walk up, into Lincoln's Inn Fields. 32 Lincoln's Inn Fields will be on the right side of the street.From TempleIf you are coming from Temple turn left out of the main entrance, cross Temple Place and go up Arundel Street. You need to cross right across the Aldwych. From here turn left and follow the Aldwych until you come to Kingsway on the right hand side. Walk up Kingsway and turn right into Sardinia Street. Continue to walk up, into Lincoln's Inn Fields. 32 Lincoln's Inn Fields will be on the right side of the street.Back to the top. Directions By Bus.Several buses stop at the Aldwych. The numbers are: 1, 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 15, 23, 26, 59, 68, X68, 76, 77a, 91, 139, 168, 171, 172, 176, 188, 243, 341 and 521.Many of these services such as numbers 1, 68 and 188 are low floor buses. A complete list is available from Transport for London. Arguably the least crowded and easiest to access is the Riverside Bus (RV1) service to Aldwych/Covent Garden, which runs from Tower Gateway,onto London Bridge, Tate Modern, and Waterloo Station before its final destination. Car Parking.There are no dedicated parking spaces outside 32 Lincoln's Inn Fields, but there is pay and display parking and 3 'Green Badge' bays (Camden's own disabled person's permit for parking) in Lincoln's Inn.The area around the LSE falls between Westminster City Council and Camden Council, with metered and pay and display parking. For Blue Badge holders there are seven dedicated parking bays within reasonable walking distance: one in Portugal Street (often full); one in Sheffield Street (new, apparently rarely used); three in Surrey Street (rarely all full); two in Temple Place (also rarely both full).
